Why we came to the city

Over the past 7 years the Bracks government has been implementing policies which have hurt country Victoria.  It did this to get Green preferences next Saturday.  They have succeeded - what a disgrace!

Bracks policies have damaged country people, taken jobs, reduced access to public land and forests, are screwing our irrigators and closing water storages - all this to cuddle up to the Greens.

Bracks claims his government is standing up for rural Victoria –

Well we can smell bull dust 5 miles away!!

We want

  1. A review of alpine grazing bans and no more loss of forest grazing.
  2. No more areas closed to timber harvesting – The Victorian industry and timber towns are on their knees now.
  3. No more public land access closed to recreation or commercial uses.
  4. The Government to meet all fees associated with undelivered water.
  5. Lake Mokoan not to close.
  6. Meaningful consultation on rural and water issues– not pretend and spin.
  7. Sensible native vegetation regulations.
  8. A change of attitude by DSE/Parks “The Neighbours from Hell.”
