We'll Be Back

When the Bracks government announced the ban on High Country grazing in May 2005, a spectacular mounted rally of 500 horses and several thousand supporters was organised within ten days. A core of people at that rally determined that they would carry on the fight until Alpine grazing was restored. They also recognized that a win for the Mountain Cattlemen would be a win for all who were losing access to the bush, losing their rights over their own private land, and were being slandered by greenies and city-centric governments.

This is a short pictorial history of that fight.
