Push For The Bush believes that a lot of time spent being involved in so called consultation with endless government inquiries is time out of your life. It's intended to wear people down so that they have no energy to fight when the predetermined outcome is announced by a Bracks government minister.

This process has been dubbed "the Octopus". See The Octopus and the Pineapple.

It has been proven conclusively that it is more effective to organise protests to attract media attention and thus tell our story to the voting public. Government's pay attention to people who forcibly explain their point of view and refuse to be intimidated. The upside is, it is actually more fun and builds morale rather than the frustration of sham consultation.
